For Professionals...
At Rest to Reset, we work alongside NHS teams, schools, and community professionals to provide specialist, in-home support for families navigating complex mental health challenges.
Our goal is to bridge the gap between clinical care and home life, helping young people feel safe, supported, and connected, while parents regain the space to rest, reset, and rebuild family stability.
What We Offer:
For Young People
We provide one-to-one, specialist support in the home for young people struggling with their mental health.
Our specialist support workers are experienced in working with anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm recovery, and emotional regulation. Each visit is carefully planned around the young person’s care plan, risk assessment, and individual needs.
Sessions may include:
-
Emotional and social support through conversation, companionship and gentle activities within their familiar environment.
-
Help to re-establish structure, independence, and confidence
We aim to maintain stability, prevent relapse or crisis, and offer a sense of continuity between services.
For Parents
Parents often describe feeling exhausted, isolated, or unable to take a break. Many are afraid to leave their child alone, even for a moment.
Rest to Reset gives families a safe, structured way to step back and recharge, knowing their child is in safe hands.
This space helps reduce family conflict, rebuild relationships, allowing families to reconnect as a whole unit.
Why it Matters
Our work is preventative. We aim to reduce hospital admissions and ease pressure on community teams.
By supporting both young people and their parents through periods of instability, we help families remain unified in the face of complex mental illness.
Funding and Access
We are able to accept:
-
Personal Assistant (PA) budgets through direct payments
-
Section 117 aftercare funding, for young people transitioning out of Tier 4 or inpatient settings
We work collaboratively with case managers, local authorities, and CAMHS professionals to ensure smooth access and continuity of care.
Transition Support for Tier 4 Step-Down
For young people leaving inpatient or Tier 4 care, Rest to Reset offers specialist transition support designed to bridge the move from hospital to home. We focus on rebuilding routines, reinforcing coping strategies, and providing a consistent, trusted presence during the adjustment period. Funded through s117 aftercare or PA budgets, this service helps young people and families settle safely back into their community, reducing the risk of readmission and promoting recovery in the environment that matters most: home.
